Agua de jamaica

Instructions

  1. Simmer. Bring 4 cups water and the hibiscus to a boil, then turn off the heat and steep 15 minutes.
  2. Sweeten. Strain, stir in sugar until dissolved, and add the remaining 4 cups cold water.
  3. Finish. Stir in lime juice and chill.
  4. Serve. Pour over ice.

Hosting tip: Hibiscus stains. Use a glass dispenser, and keep it away from white tablecloths.
