Shirley Temple
The original kids' mocktail: ginger ale, a splash of grenadine, and a cherry on top. Still the most requested drink at kids' parties.

- Classic mocktails
- Kid-friendly
Instructions
- Fill glasses. Fill glasses with ice and pour in the ginger ale.
- Add grenadine. Pour 1 tablespoon of grenadine into each glass. It sinks to the bottom for the classic sunset look.
- Finish. Add a squeeze of lime, then garnish with two cherries and an orange half-moon.
Hosting tip: Build these in the glass rather than a pitcher so every drink gets the red-to-gold gradient kids love.
Make it ahead
Mix everything except soda and ice up to 8 hours ahead and refrigerate.
Variations
Use lemon-lime soda instead of ginger ale for a sweeter version, or make a Roy Rogers with cola.
